I was first introduced to chiropractic when I was about seven years old. My father injured a disc in his lower back. This put in out of work for an extended time. He received medical treatments which were ineffective, finally someone recommended he see a chiropractor. After a regime of adjustment he was able to return to work after a few weeks. This chiropractor educated my parents on the science of maintaining a properly balance nervous system through chiropractic adjustments. They lea rned from their chiropractors teachings and personal experience that maintaining proper nervous system function would allow better cell, tissue and organ function , which in turn would help the body better defend its self against bacterial and viral invaders. They also learned that the adjustments helped to maintain proper joint function, which made them less prone to ligament, tendon or muscle injuries. I worked in a number of different careers I even tried what my father did for a living, but it wasn’t for me. I earned my bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University. I then moved to At. Louis and enrolled at Logan college of chiropractic. I knew from the first semester that chiropractic was what I was supposed to do. My passion for Chiropractic and helping others only grew stronger from that time on and continues to this day. There is no end to learning the mysteries of how the human body works.   Read More
