The atmosphere combines an energetic, busy sports-bar – with over 20 televisions and a great selection of craft beers – with a brick front colonial building located on a quiet, tree lined street. 15 Barrow Street dates back to 1897 where it was built by Conrad Schaper. Mr. Schaper was one of the original “truckers†in the neighborhood. By “trucker†we mean he hauled goods near and far by horse drawn carriage. 15 Barrow was used as a stable and carriage house by Schaper. Contrary to popular belief, Aaron Burr did not come to own or reside at 15-17 Barrow Street. According to historians, Aaron Burr’s estate was located nowhere near Barrow Street.   Read More
