Ray Gessner is the founder and C.E.O. of A Step in Time. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech – 91 and an MS in Engineering from Old Dominion University – 98. Ray holds a class A contractor’s license and a professional engineering license in both Virginia and Maryland— making him more than qualified to personally train each and every one of our technicians. Ray has published national trade articles in SNEWS Magazine and National Chimney Sweep Guild’s Sweeping Magazine.
