Dooher's Bakery opened its doors in 1949 when Muriel and Harry Dooher bought a small bakery in Madoc, Ontario. With a small wood-fired oven and everything made from scratch, it took courage and determination, along with incredibly long hours for Dooher's Bakery to begin this long-standing and successful venture as a high-quality bakery.Today, much of the Dooher's Bakery tradition remains the same.
