Business Info
A grocery store will open its doors in the east Plano neighborhood, adding even more options and life to the neighborhood to the north of Downtown Plano. The majority of typical grocery store items will be available at the family-run speciality market Green Vine Market, which also provides a variety of unusual goods and services. It will be situated inside the location where Terry's El Mariachi Supermercado once stood. The Green Vine Market is run by Nedal and Suzanne Hammad, two locals who c laim to be opening it because they are passionate about fine food. "We were motivated to build this speciality grocery shop by Dallas' thriving and more diversified food scene over the past few years. Nedal stated that the idea for Green Vine Market came from his passion and dedication for outstanding food in a bustling market. In addition to a bakery with freshly baked pastries, artisan bread, and savory flatbreads, Green Vine Market will offer a speciality coffee bar. In addition, a custom butcher shop, a ton of farm-fresh fruit, an olive bar, and a state-of-the-art kitchen will be available, serving a variety of cuisine and handcrafted sandwiches. Nedal and Suzanne are members of Associated Wholesale Grocers, a retailer-owned cooperative that offers them all the resources, goods, and services they need to successfully compete with other grocery stores.   Read More
