The Odyssey first opened in November 1974 as a small gift and novelty store in downtown Bedford Ohio. In 1978 we expanded to Aurora, and in 1980 opened our third store in Kent Ohio. As the Aurora store continued to expand, we decided to close both the Kent store, and our original location in Bedford.
